James Duthie

One of the most talented stars in sports broadcasting today, James Duthie is the host of TSN’s extensive NHL coverage, including the award-winning NHL on TSN.

He was also the daytime host of CTV’s 2012 Summer Olympics in London as well as the highly acclaimed 2010 Olympic coverage, and the host for CTV’s coverage Team Canada’s historic gold medal hockey run.

Recognized across the country for his outstanding work, Duthie’s entertaining and sharp-witted style has made him a fan favourite.

Recently, Duthie was honoured with a 2009 Gemini Award for Best Sportscaster/Anchor. He is an eight-time Gemini nominee.

Duthie is the former co-host of the evening edition of SportsCentre, Canada’s most watched sports news and information program. He also previously hosted TSN’s highly acclaimed CFL studio show and NBA coverage. Prior to joining TSN, Duthie, an Ottawa native, worked at VTV in Vancouver as both a news and sports reporter. Duthie also spent several years at CJOH-TV in Ottawa as a news reporter and later, sports anchor.
